Notice is hereby given of the resumption of registration and election provided under Republic Act 9189, as amended by Republic Act 10590, and of the issuance of COMELEC Resolution 10167 that provides that Filipino citizens overseas will be able register for the May 13, 2019 National elections and subsequent elections from December 01, 2016 to September 30, 2018.
All qualified Filipino citizens at least 18 years of age on 13 May 2019, and are not registered overseas voters may file their applications for registration at the nearest Embassy/ Consulate or other registered centers authorized by the Commission.
Applicants are advised to personally appear at the Consulate General, 556 5th Avenue, NY, New York 10036 during office hours for biometrics capturing and to bring the following as proof of Philippine citizenship: 1) photocopy of valid passport 2) if dual citizen, copy of oath of allegiance or proof of Philippine citizenship from the Bureau of Immigration, and 3) for seamen, copy of seaman's book.
